History

In the early 1960’s, the radiologists at Miami Valley Hospital formed a professional corporation, known as Dr. George Nichol and Associates.

In the early 1970’s, Dr. Nichol retired, and the name of the corporation was changed to Miami Valley Radiologists.

In 1977, with the opening of the 1st office outside Miami Valley Hospital at 30 W. Rahn Road in the south suburbs of Dayton, the name of the corporation was changed to Radiology Physicians, Incorporated (RPI).

Radiology Physicians, Inc. has grown with the growth of imaging to its current size of over 30 radiologists. All of the radiologists are board-certified by the American Board of Radiology, and most are trained in subspecialty areas of Radiology, such as neuroradiology, interventional radiology, MRI, body imaging, mammography, and nuclear medicine.
